Faran Forghani
Faran is a Civil Engineer and currently working for London Borough of Sutton as Traffic & Highway Works Manager. Prior to this he had worked for private sector as well as other local authorities such as Kent County Council and Medway Council.
Faran is a member of the Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of Gillingham (which is an elected body) and is currently serving the Assembly as an elected chairman. He is also a member of Medway Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) representing the Baha'i Faith.
He strongly believes that the highest goal man can achieve is to be of service to mankind in every aspect of his life. He says, "It is something I strive for every day (well, most days!). I take this belief with me to my day job as a civil engineer and a Manager, and it is the guiding principle in the way I interact with my friends, family and strangers alike and it is why I have joined to be a member of MIFA".
